CANDLE BURNING TIPS

1. Always burn your candle to the edge of the container. This is usually 1 hour per inch diameter of the jar. This will help prevent burning a tunnel down the center of your candle.

2. Keep your wick trimmed. If you notice soot on your jar - you most likely need to trim your wick. The wick may begin to smoke if the flame is over 3/4" long. If your flame is smoking, you definately need to trim the wick.

3. You may wonder what the "mushroom" on your wick is. This is found in highly fragranced candles and is due to the fragrance oil in the candle. Simply trim off the mushroom before burning.

4. Keep your candle out of a draft. Drafty locations can cause the candle to smoke and become a fire hazard.
