The reeds are rattan not bamboo, which allows the fragrances to move up the reeds without clogging so you can enjoy the wonderful aroma for up to 6 months!! Now you can purchase reed diffusers in all fragrances and a lower price, too! You may either use the glass bottle the oil comes in as your vase, or pour the oil in a glass vase of your own.
